Did you follow one of the methods covered in Minor Updates Within 3.3.x? If so, which one?

I did a complete install as per the link you had at the bottom of your post.

It was indicated as being a successful install 100%. It was only when I went to access it that it went blank.

The fix the hosting company implemented worked I guess which was helpful.

Thanks again for your input. Its good to learn more every day.
