You want to remove notification or want to delete your messages ?You can say all you want about security in general, but I maintain there is something wrong if software does not give a user permission to delete messages in one's own personal notification 'mailbox'.I am specifically using Phpbb forum for security reason (other than being oldest continuous forum software for free) even though I find permission settings complicated sometimes.
Because deleting messages option is available in user control panel.
