Using the NRU group should be used to filter the first 1, 2 or 3 messages from new users. So how is it possible to publish messages without having gone through the validation of a moderator?
I'm missing something there!
This applies to approved posts: (non-approved posts do not increment the post count and will only be visible for the posters and the moderators (that have the can approve posts permission)New member post limit:
New members are within the Newly Registered Users group until they reach this number of posts. You can use this group to keep them from using the PM system or to review their posts. A value of 0 disables this feature.
So if the NRU permission can post without approval is set to NEVER, postcount will increment only after approval. In other words a NRU member could have made more than the required (e.g. 3) posts but remain member of the NRU, until the approved posts threshold has been reached.
